What exist in our civilization now that will be an artifact someday and what makes it important enough to be an artifact?

An example might be something like an iphone 4, it is specific to our time and was extremely influential in our society, however it was fairly short lived. It also was the inspiration for the 5, and then the 6, and now the 7; so it will most likely also influence something else in the future.
