My piano teacher says I haven’t been practicing enough to really learn the instrument. So I’ve made a commitment to start practicing three hours every day.
B. I have a friend who is a locavore. So she eats food that is locally grown whenever possible.
C. If Gorton is a cannibal, then students need to avoid his campus office hours. Students need not avoid Gorton’s office hours, so he is not a cannibal.
D. No CSUEB students are vampires. Some CSUEB students are geeks. So some geeks are not vampires.
E. I had a BBQ last weekend, and left the steaks on the grill much too long. So everyone ended up eating burned meat!
F. My neighbor is a Raiders fan, and she sure loves to party. I have a date with guy this weekend, and according to his profile he loves the Raiders. So I bet he’s a party animal.
G. My roommate is a transfer student, and he’s failing his classes. So transfer students must struggle at CSUEB.
H. My brother got hiccups after dinner, so she probably ate her food too fast.
I. Our mathematics prof. just proved in class that there are infinitely many prime numbers. I could not quite follow her proof, but given her expertise I assume there are infinitely many prime numbers.
J. The CSUEB librarian I consulted was authoritative. So all CSUEB librarians must be authoritative.
