The pandemic times measures' must be in harmony with the Constitution and Human Rights and simultaneously be rational and efficient. Not an excuse to exceed the law or favor some small economic groups.

Hi there,The point in this debate was the some of the fundamental human rights couldn't be, according to that South African High Court (human dignity, the right to associate, ...etc) endangered even in these pandemic times. Some of the measures said to be not reasonable at all.

The case that's been taking place not only in South Africa but also in many other countries is at what point can we abstain from certain rights in these extraordinary times?

May these extraordinary times be an excuse to rule over the constitution?

That decision forces the government to weigh things better, to at least balance it from representatives of the society. And above all respect the constitution of that country.

That is a worldwide phenomenon.

in addition, being covered by the media is important to validate the message and make it relevant in the social agenda, as well as to reach more people who can share interests, appealing to public sympathy for their cause.

in conclusion, it is by social networks and social media that social movement is given birth; by connecting different individuals with similar ideas and organizing them to mobilize for a greater cause.
