Why is social stratification functional for society?

As of right now people are practicing social distancing. And also right now my grandma is crying cause no one can come to her house. Also right now, people are sleeping when they should be at work. Also The president is very mad becuz he is not getting a lot of money becuz some places like Italy have stopped working completely which means no money. Times are getting worst just saying there could even be another great resession. Just saying.

Do you know what incentive means? Well if you dont it means a thing that motivates or encourages one to do something. So people strengthen other people. Kinggsely Davis and Wilbert Moore have even agreed that people can provide and incentive for talented individuals. Stratification means an arrangement or classification into different groups so its also proobably more organizzed as well. People with same skill working with different levels of those skills.
