Five facts that are interesting regarding Ancient Greece:

The Romans are seen to have copied much of Greek culture including their gods, architecture and language. Events in Ancient Greece Olympics included wrestling, boxing, long jump and chariot racing. Most of the events, especially wrestling, took place naked.Ancient Greece invented theater! Only men and boys were allowed to act. The men wore masks which portrayed the actors emotion.The city-states were almost always at war yet before the Olympics a truce was called.The Ancient Greeks held many festivals to honor the Gods. Many believed that the Olympics was a way to honor the God Zeus.
