The implication of this for communication / design / marketing is that the fact that people look at something does not mean that they are paying attention. If you want people to notice the changes, you may need to be very direct about showing what the changes are and where they are.

      however, racism is an improving issue in recent decades. people are being more accepting and welcoming of diverse populations. though, the world isn't perfect and it will take much more time, if ever, until the world is rid of racism.
