How is bush v gore diffrent from brown v board of education

Brown v Board of education was a trial that end Racial Segregation in united states.

In this case, the court deemed separating black and white students with different facility was a direct violation of the fourteenth amendment , specifically equal protection clause.

Bush V. Gore on the other hand was a trial that influence the way election recount should be conducted.

At that time, Bush initially won the election by a very tiny margin. Al gore then brought the case to the court and ask for the state of Florida to conduct a state-wide recount. The court then prevented that from happening by ruling the recount as unconstitutional.
