Yes, I believe that America is successful because of the nation's diverse population. Having a variety of people in one place allows the formation of "trust." It is not easy to trust somebody who comes from another nation, since they have different beliefs and cultures. However, if they are brought in one place, it becomes easier to nurture the element of trust, especially when it comes to businesses and work settings. This is one example that you can see in America's workplaces. There are a variety of nationalities working in one office.

Having a diverse population allows people to express themselves differently. It gives them the freedom to show the world who they are. For example, Indians in America may still prefer to wear Indian fashion because it also allows them to express their religion.

Lastly, having a diverse population allows people to learn many things (languages, foreign products, unique hobbies). It makes the nation more "open-minded," which means it becomes easier for them to adapt to a changing society. American people can easily adapt to having friends from Asia, Africa, Europe and the like. It enhances their knowledge on these places, thereby making them more culturally-flexible.
