What are the effects and consequences of divorce on children?

From personal experience, my siblings and I it was a struggle.

Their behavior changed immensely. My sister became more snobby, too strong willed, my second oldest brother started to have anger issues and do terribly in school. My youngest brother had kept to himself for the most part but would always cry.

I was left to take care of them, I was failing school.
