National news or mass media has a bigger sector of topics that discusses.

Local news is informing its public of the events that are happening in their surrounding. They are connected with the readers and are giving them the information from the close.

National media is having much information to tell about and that is its biggest advantage. They are less detailed but can get a wide range of public. This is how the mass media is connecting people.
