An angel appeared in front of the shepherds rearing their sheep in the nearby fields and told them that a child has taken birth in a stable nearby and the child is no one else but their savior himself. The shepherds ran to the place where Jesus was born and narrated the incident to the people. People believed that Jesus was God's son and celebrated his birth.
