To win an election in a democratically governed state, the candidates in the Election will have to be elected by votes of the people or in cases where a specific category of people is allowed to vote, a candidate will have to win by a majority of the total votes cast, Majority means more than half  51%  of votes is considered a majority vote.

In a situation were no candidate wins by the majority there will be a supplementary election to determine the winner of the Election and this process is repeated until a candidate emerges a winner by Majority of the votes.
