Maslow was a humanist. He proposed a humanistic theory called humanistic theory or perspective. It is based on hierarchy. In this hierarchy, there are five levels of needs. These needs are interdependent. If a person does not complete or fulfill a basic need, it could not reach on the next level. The primary and the basic need is  

Physiological need:

This needs to be based on the biological requirements of the body to survive. These are very important needs. Without these needs, a person could not reach on to the next level. This basic need includes water, food, sex, clothes, sleep, etc. Maslow considers that physiological need is the most important need. Without fulfilling these need a person could not go on the second level. Other needs are secondary.

well it depends i think people around the world are coming around to gay marriage. but if you are talking abortion then wow, so much to talk about. such as men thinking they have the right to choose if women can, the fact there are health concerns if the women can't get one, and many more arguments to discuss. so i would definitely say abortion would be a much more interesting topic.
