Dissociation amnesia

Explanation:

Dissociation amnesia is related to the dissociation disorder in which a person not able to recall the important information related to the personal information daily routine information etc. This type of memory does not a loss at the time of normal forgetting. Mostly this type of forgetting during any type of trauma or stress in life occurs. The diagnosis can be made based on the history and symptoms of the patients.  

The sign and the symptoms of the disorder:

There are three types of symptoms that can be seen such as localized amnesia, generalized amnesia, and selective amnesia.  

So that in many cases when a person is suffering from dissociation amnesia not able to recall even the names.
