Nepal is a country with multiple distinct ethnicities and cultures, which also belong to different religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Christianity along with indigenous beliefs. Its population of 28 million people belongs to 126 ethnicities that speak 123 different languages.  

In such an environment people learn to be empathetic towards each other on humanistic level even though they might not understand each other or share each other beliefs. Diversity does not mean difference, it means the capacity of accepting other people as they are and learn to cooperate with each other, by being respectful and openminded at the same time. This is how Nepalese population coexists.
