Integrity vs despair stage is the last and eight stage of Erick Erickson's psycho-social development stage. This is the stage that starts at the age of 65 years and till death. It is the stage where an individual feels coherence with wholeness and it is the cycle of acceptance of one's one life.

At this stage, if a person feels unproductive in his life, feel guilty about their life not accomplishing the targeted goals in life. The individual with a successful lifestyle will feel wisdom at the end of life.  

Thus Noah is in the last stage of Eric Erickson's psycho-social development stage and thinking about his past life what he did and what he did accomplish in his life.
