Money is something people use to but things. Hundreds of years ago, people used shells, beads, and stones as money. Today most countries use bills and coins for money. The money that each country uses is called currency. The United States, Canada, and Australia call their currencies the dollar. Many countries in Europe use the Euro. Mexico uses the peso. Currency is a form of money.
