Alaska, Hawaii, and Rhode Island are all U.S. states (Fun fact: Alaska and Hawaii were once territory. It makes sense since they aren't very close to the main land). This means Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. In case you don't know being a U.S. territory means that the whole Constitution does not apply to them.
