Union for latino and filipino farmworkers

The United Farm Workers Union was formed in 1965 after the merge of the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee (AWOC), mainly of Filipinos, and the National Farm Workers Association (NFWA), mainly of Mexicans. The United Farm Union was formed under leader and activist Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta.
