Explanation:

It is said that plastic takes 450 years to decompose. It will take the longest to rot than wood and paper.

For instance, wood is made from biodegradable and non toxic substances. In a landfill wood will absorb moisture and break down more quickly than plastic.

On the other hand plastic takes more than 400 years to degrade.

As far as Paper is concerned, it is more eco friendly than plastic and it takes around two to six weeks to degrade or decompose in a landfill.

This tells a lot why plastic should be banned Completely.
