Elections promote democracy by:

providing representatives according to the will of the majority and removing those who are corrupt and fail to represent the will of the people.educating the public and promoting awareness regarding political issues.enabling different parties to compete and express their ideas and plans for a better future.

It could be anything, recent improvements in technology/telecommunication/internet have increased the pace of globalization.generally, it has something to do with technology. globalization means that people around the world are brought together through technology which speeds things up. so maybe some of those options could be correct. : )
