The United States system of government, as established by the U.S Constitution, consists of three branches, all of which have an equal amount of power. However, throughout time, Congress realized that the Supreme Court was not enough to oversee the innumerable amount of cases that reached it every single day from various parts of the country. And so, as a power given to them through the Constitution, Congress established what is known as the inferior courts, or special courts, who aid the Supreme Court in cases that do not need to reach the most powerful organ of the judicial system. These courts can be divided into two: the constitutional, or regular, courts and the special courts.
