What is the difference between hdi and ihdi?

Geez its difficult to ans w/o having it looks like a cut-and-paste as it relates to their definitions. i will try:

HDI is short for Human Development Index. It is a measure developed by the United Nation to measure a country’s average achievements in health, education and income.

IHDI is Inequality-adjusted Human Development Index. It is similar to HDI but has an extra adjustment for inequality. If only a small portion of ppl have great comfort and wealth, a high HDI does no good for the general population. By adding the inequality adjustment, IHDI gives a better measure of a country for its whole population.

IHDI is Inequality-adjusted Human Development Index.  HDI is Human Development Index. Both are created by the United Nation to evaluate the development of countries around the world.

HDI is a simple figure with no consideration to inequality or general poverty. IHDI improves on that and includes an inequality coefficient.

trade regulation is a field of law, often bracketed with antitrust (as in the phrase “antitrust and trade regulation law”), including government regulation of unfair methods of competition and unfair or deceptive business acts or practices. antitrust law is often considered a subset of trade regulation law. franchise and distribution law, consumer protection law, and advertising law are sometimes considered parts of trade regulation law.

in general the theory of economics says that the more open to trade a country is the better   the result for the same country and the whole economies.

in real life countries impose taxes, quotas, etc which is not so good for the economies.

this kind of commercial war between the usa and china is slowing down the growth of the whole world so we can say that it is a draw back of trade regulations. and the free trade agreements are benefits of trade regulations.
