Which of these best describes the situation in cuba following the revolution of 1959?

It led to the overthrow of the Batista Regime and Cuba became a communist state under the leadership of Fidel Castro.  Reaction to this development was split among Cubans.  While welcomed the new government due to the abuses committed by former regime, there were those who fled Cuba and went to the United States.  Cuba was isolated and the people relied on themselves for support.
