A histogram titled plant growth has water (milliliters) on the x-axis and growth (centimeters) on the y-axis. 0 to 9 is 0 growth, 10 to 19: 1 centimeter, 20 to 29 : 2. 1 centimeters, 30 to 39: 4. 5 centimeters, 40 to 49: 6. 8 centimeters, 50 to 59: 4. 5 centimeters, 60 to 69: 2. 2 centimeters, 70 to 79: 1. 1 centimeters, 80 to 89: 0 centimeters. Dean describes the data in the histogram as having a cluster from 30–60 and a peak at 40–49. He says the intervals 0–9 and 80–89 show a 0 frequency. Lastly, he says that the graph is not symmetrical. Why is dean incorrect? the graph does not show a peak. There is no cluster in this data set. The graph does not show intervals with 0 frequency. The graph is symmetrical.
