A car with a mass of 2700 kg is rolling down a hill with a grade that is 15° above the horizontal with a velocity of 2 m/s. The car had 400m before it hits the water barrels which act as springs. A. Calculate the total energy the car has at the top of the hill

B. At the bottom of the hill, the car smashed into water barrels which act as spring with a spring constant of 1,500,000 N/m. How much distance will the water barrel/spring need to compress to stop the car?

C. If the water barrels are only 1.5m thick, will the car come to a complete stop. Explain your reasoning.
