Analysis of Ethical Argument Analyze the following selection for the LOGIC of its ethical argument (do not consider whether it is right or wrong, only the logic) and then fill in the blanks below:

Bonnie Brae Neighborhood Association Statement of Purpose

Bonnie Brae Township was founded as a haven for the “Well-to-Do.” According to this purpose, the Well-to-Do of Bonnie Brae have a right never to be offended by bad taste or ugliness. Surrounding neighborhoods are filled with tasteless buildings. The children of the poor are known to be uglier than the children of the rich. The rich people of Bonnie Brae Township will not tolerate the governing board of their township helping poor children in a way that offends the eyes of the rich nor will they tolerate breaches in the high walls of the township that allows “visual pollution” of seeing ugly neighborhoods. The governing board has an obligation never to do anything the rich will not tolerate. The Board has an obligation to fulfill the purpose of the founding of Bonnae Brae Township.

Current Controversy
The local school district is planning bus routes to and from poor neighborhoods. Unless the governing board of Bonnie Brae intervenes, these routes will go past the nicest mansions of Bonnie Brae so that the rich will see the poor children. The School district is planning to build a bus depot within sight of Bonne Brae’s central square. Unless the governing board builds a massive wall, this ugly structure will be seen by the rich while they are shopping.
Resolution Before the Bonnie Brae Governing Board
RESOLVED, 1) Bonnie Brae Township shall deny the school board the right to run it buses on the roads surrounding Bonnie Brae; and 2) Bonnie Brae Township shall build a massive wall to hide the bus depot from the sight of anyone in Bonnie Brae.

Your Assignment: Fill in the Blank to provide the “ethical argument” supporting the resolution.

Space-time metric ds2= -dt2+at2dx2+bt2dy2+ct2dz2 (a)how does the area of a rectangle with vertices at ( x=0, y=0, z=0 ), (1,0,0 ), ( 0,1,0 ) and (1,1,0 ) changes with time? (b) if a photon moving in the x direction starts from the origin at t=1, when does it reach x=l? (ds=0 for the trajectory of a photon.) (c) the proper time for a particle is defined by cd=ds. what is the proper time for a particle to move along the trajectory ( x(t)=t, y(t)=0, z(t)=0 ) from t=0 to 1 ? what is the condition on the parameter a so that the velocity of the particle never exceeds the speed of light ?
