An 1.0-meter long uniform steel rod has a mass of 0.452 kg is laying down at rest on a frictionless table. A 0.452 kg lump of clay slides at a speed of 1.79 m/s toward one end of the rod (I_{COM}I COM = \frac{1}{12} 12 1 ML^2 2 ), as seen from above in the figure. The clay lump sticks to the tip of the rod, and the rod+clay system starts to slide and spin about the system's center of mass. What is the rotation speed of the rod+clay system after the collision? Treat the lump of clay as a point mass
