A 74.0 kilogram skateboarder launches off a ramp with an initial speed of 7.35 meters per second. The skateboarder lands at a location which is a vertical distance of 2.50 meters below the top of the ramp. If there was no drag or friction, then what would be the speed of the skateboarder just before landing? If the skateboarder's actual speed just before landing is 9.25 meters per second, then how much thermal energy was generated?
