Many years ago a pirate named Captain Timon buried several treasures in the open field outside of the classroom. He marked these treasures with a small marker while his first mate Pumbaa tended to a gas leak on the sailboat. Find the marker, and you have found the treasure . The treasures are marked as 1 through 3 hid these treasures by using three "lighthouses" as his starting (reference) points. Light house #1 is the farthest east light, #2 is directly behind the classroom and #3 is farther west on the other side of the fire hydrant. Groups 1 and 4 will find treasure number 1, Groups 2 and 5 will find treasure group 3 and 6 will find treasure 3. Find one bearing to follow using vector addition in the classroom before even stepping outside. Let's see who finds it first.
