A "Standing Transverse Wave" lab set up is made of with string A (mass 0.70-g, length 2.1 m), string B with a liner density four times that of string A, and a block of mass 300-g hanging at the end (Fig. 2). The source outputs sinusoidal waves at 1000 Hz. (a) Find the ratio of the traveling waves' wavelengths on string A and B
(b) If the wave gets 100% transmitted at the conjunction of the two strings, find the two traveling waves along the string and the standing wave equations.
(c) When 10 loops of standing wave pattern is form on string A, what is the weight of the block? At what length that string B would also have integer number of loops on it?
