A massive, uniform rod of length L= 10 meters is pivoted at its bottom end. It is held veritcal initially, as shown in the figure, and is released. It, then, swings down rotating around the pivot, as indicated in the figure. When the rod completes three-quarters of a full turn, at the instant the rod reaches the horizontal position as indicated by the dashed lines in the figure, the pivot disappears and the rod flies freely up in the air. (Take g = 10 m/s^2.)

A) What is the angular speed w, in units of radians per second, of the rod about the pivotal point when it reaches the horizontal position indicated by the dashed lines in the figure?

B) What is the maximum height h, in meters, from the horizontal level indicated by the dashed lines in the figure, that the center of mass of the rod reaches during the resulting motion after the pivot disappears and the rod
flies freely up in the air?

C) What the angle 0, in degrees, that the rod makes with respect to the horizontal (0°
D) If the pivot disappears when the rod is at an angle 30° below the horizontal position indicated by the dashed lines in the figure, what angle, in degrees, does the rod rotate about the center of mass between the instant the
pivot disappears and the instant the center of mass reaches its maximum height? (30° is the angle between the horizontal indicated by the dashed lines and the rotating rod at the instant the pivot disappears.)

Why does the equilibrium position of the spring change when a mass is added to the spring? will the mass oscillate around the new equilibrium position of the spring or the previous position without a mass attached to the spring? if the equilibrium position of the spring changes by 20 cm (assuming no initial mass) when a mass is added to the spring with constant 4.9 kg/s^2, what is the mass of the object attached to the spring?
