A solid sphere of mass 2.0kg and radius 30.0cm which is
constrained to rotate about the vertical axis passing through the centre of the sphere. A
cord is wrapped around what would be the equator, passes over a pulley of negligible
mass and attached to a mass of 800g that is allowed to fall through the height of 1.5m
under the influence of gravity.
Find the,
(a) velocity of the hanging mass.
(b) angular momentum of the sphere.​
