In one of the examples during our
class, we found the centripetal
acceleration of the Earth as it
revol ves around the Sun. Now,
compute the centripetal acceleration
of a point on the surface of the Earth
at the equator caused by the rotation
of the Earth about its axis, assuming
that the Earth's radius is 6370 km.
Also compute its angular speed.
