A marching band consists of rows of musicians walking in straight, even lines. When a marching band performs in an event, such as a parade, and must round a curve in the road, the musician on the outside of the curve must walk around the curve in the same amount of time as the musician on the inside of the curve. This motion can be approximated by a disk rotating at a constant rate about an axis perpendicular to its plane. In this case, the axis of rotation is at the inside of the curve. Consider two musicians, Alf and Beth. Beth is four times the distance from the inside of the curve as Alf. Knowing that If Beth travels a distance s during time Δt, how far does Alf travel during the same amount of time= (1/4)s. If Alf moves with speed v, what is Beth's speed?

[05.02] what is the best explanation of the kinetic molecular theory as it relates to the energy of the molecules in the states of matter? (1 point) the molecules in a gas have greater kinetic energy than those in a liquid, which in turn have greater kinetic energy than the molecules in a solid. kinetic energy cannot be created nor destroyed, and, as a result, all states of matter have the same kinetic energy. the molecules in a gas have greater kinetic energy; therefore, they are more tightly packed than the molecules in either a liquid or a solid. the molecules in gases and liquids, in constant motion, have greater kinetic energy than those in a solid, which do not move or vibrate because their position is fixed.

Three-phase, 4-wire panelboards are usually constructed with an even number ofspaces available for each phase; thus, the total number of spaces would be in incre-ments of 6, such as 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, or 42. how many spaces would be available forthe later addition of circuit breakers in panelboard p-1 after the panelboard has been equipped as scheduled?
