Suppose that a car oscillates vertically as if it were a mass m = 800 kg on a single spring with constant 7 x 104 N/m, attached to a single dashpot with constant 3000 N·s/m. Suppose that this car with the dashpot disconnected is driven along a washboard road surface with an amplitude of 5 cm and a wavelength of L = 10 m. At what car speed will resonance vibrations occur? In the example, assume that the car is moving with the constant speed of 25 m/s on the washboard under the same conditions as described. Find the equation of oscillations of the car and solve it. Your solution must have two arbitrary constants C1,C2.
