If a guy was about to die in the electric chair and had a heart attack would they save him?

They would be taken to a hospital and given the appropriate medical treatment for their condition; executing someone who is in the process of suffering from a heart attack would be cruel and unusual punishment under any reading of the situation, as would refusing that person the proper medical care.
