La prensa hidráulica de la figura está formada por dos tanques cilíndricos, de diámetros 40 y 10 cm, respectivamente, conectados por la parte inferior mediante un tubo. La prensa contiene dos líquidos inmiscibles, agua y aceite. Calcular la masa m que habría que poner sobre el émbolo de diámetro menor para que el sistema se encontrase en equilibrio tal y como se muestra en la figura. Suponer que la presión ejercida por las masas sobre la superficie superior de cada émbolo se distribuye uniformemente sobre ella.
