Electron spin:

Electron spin is a quantum characteristic of electrons. It is a mode of angular momentum. The magnitude of this angular momentum is perpetual. If the electron spins clockwise on its axis, it is described as spin-up; counterclockwise is spin-down.

Electron pair:

Electron pair is also known as lewis pair. Lewis pair consists of two electrons that fill the same molecular orbital but have opposing spins. Gilbert N. Lewis introduced the electron pair idea in a 1916 article.
