Explanation:

Photosynthesis is the process by which plants and some microorganism produce their food. In the eukaryote, the process occurs in the thylakoids ( light phase of the reaction) and stroma ( dark phase or calvin cycle). Some microorganism use infolding of the cell membrane which house chlorophyll to carryout photosynthesis. The energy gotten from sunlight is used through the combination of the light and dark phase reaction to produce glucose which is a monomer for other polymers such as cellulose ( cell wall production), starch (very essential for energy) and others. Cellular respiration involves several process of biochemical pathways such as glycolysis, kreb cycle and the electron chain that living organism use to harvest the energy from energy rich substances such as starch to drive their activities. The currency of cellular respiration is ATP. Cellular respiration is broken into two: aerobic which occur in the presence of oxygen and anaerobic does not require oxygen.

Cellular respiration in eukaryote organism occurs in the mitochondrial although part of it ( glycolysis) occurs in the cytoplasm. Prokaryotic organism lack mitochondria so they carry out cellular respiration in their cytoplasm.

It is accurate to say life on earth is solar-powered because a great number of living organism depend on sunlight to produce their food  (producer) and the oxygen produce for life. The process of the production yield extremely important product which are:

1. oxygen which without most living organism cannot survive because  energy rich aerobic process cannot occur and most living organism will die.

2. The food produce through sunlight is depended upon by greatly large group of organism who in turns convert it for other s and the conversion continue from level to level
