As you  may see in the picture, the skateborder starts to the left of the origin and he has a negative velocity as well, so he would be moving left all the time. After the 5 seconds, the distance between the origin and the skateboarder is even greater than it was before. This is because he kept moving left. So he will be further from the origin compared to where it started.
