In chemistry class, you are given 3 liquids: liquid a, liquid b, and liquid c. they are each in their own beaker. one of these liquids is water which has a denisty of 1.0 g/ml. you also have an ice cube with a density of 0.92 g/ml, and a piece of cork with a density of 0.85 g/ml when all 3 liquids are mixed together, liquid b is on the bottom. the ice cube will float in b and sink in the other two liquids. a piece of cork will float in liquid a but sink in liquid c. what is the approximate density of liquid a?
a. less than 0.85 g/ml
b. between 0.92 g/ml and 1.0 g/ml
c. greater than 1.0 g/ml
