Both objects have a density greater than 1.00 g/cm³ ... the density of water.
Placed in water, both objects will proceed straight to the bottom.

In Carbon Disulfide ... density 1.26 g/cm³ ... Object-A will float, but Object-B
will sink.

In Chloroform (1.49 g/cm³), Mercury (13.6 g/cm³), or Nitric Acid (1.56 g/cm³),
both objects will float.  But Object-B must displace more water in order to
create buoyant force equal to its weight, so Object-A will float higher.
