The area was covered and surrounded by gangrene. Removal of the necrotic skin took place in surgery the following day. Antibiotics were administered both orally and by ointment to the site. In addition, her diabetic medications were regularly administered. On day 3 of her hospitalization, Nora experienced an inferior wall MI and expired. Did Nora have any comorbidities?
