How do the different kinds of fats influence cholesterol levels?

Cholesterol is defined as a waxy, fat-like substance that found in all the cells in the body. The body cholesterol functions to make vitamin D, hormones, and substances that helps in food digestion but too much cholesterol can rise a problem.

All type of cholesterol are made by the body it needs and can also found in foods from animal sources, such as cheese, egg yolks and meat.

There are three kinds of fat affecting cholesterol including saturated fat, trans fats, and unsaturated fat. foods containing trans fats and saturated causes body to produce even more LDL or low-density lipoprotein (bad cholesterol), raising the level of bad cholesterol in blood while unsaturated fats help to improve blood cholesterol by increasing HDL or high-density lipoprotein.
