I could be wrong but would it be 1560? because 0.30 multiplied by 1200 which equals 360. 360 added to 1200 equals 1560 dollars

If 30 percent is 1200, then you cant find that 400 dollars is 10 percent. 100 percent has 10 10 percents. So they have 4000 dollars since 100 percent is ten times 10 percent.
