Multiply by interest which is 3% convert to decimal by moving percent symbol two places to the left   .03

A) 100*.03= $3  

400*.03= $12     12/.03 =400

50*.03=$1.50

300*.03=$9

B) multiply .03*200=$6   and .03*150=$4.50 then subtract 6.00-4.50=$1.50 difference.
