If a triangle meets the criteria of c^2 > a^2 + b^2, then the triangle is obtuse. true or false?

In a triangle, if the sum of the squares of 2 shortest sides is less than the square of the third side, (as is the case here), the triangle is obtuse. 

So, IF a and b are the 2 shortest sides then this is true.
