The perimeter of a rectangle is 114 centimeters. the length is 6 centimeters less than twice the width. find the dimensions of the rectangle

Perimeter = 114 cm
Lets say that the width is 2x
Width = x
Length = 2x - 6
x + x + 2x - 6 + 2x - 6 = 114 cm
x + x + 2x + 2x = 114 + 6 + 6
6x =  126 cm
x = 126 / 6 
   = 21 cm
Width = 21cm 
Length = (21 x 2) - 6
            = 36cm
