What is 3x^3+21x^2+30x=0?

                     3x³ + 21x² + 30x = 0
         3x(x²) + 3x(7x) + 3x(10) = 0
                     3x(x² + 7x + 10) = 0
             3x(x² + 5x + 2x + 10) = 0
   3x(x(x) + x(5) + 2(x) + 2(5)) = 0
            3x(x(x + 5) + 2(x + 5)) = 0
                      3x(x + 2)(x + 5) = 0
3x = 0  or  x + 2 = 0  or  x + 5 = 0
 3     3           - 2  - 2          - 5  - 5
  x = 0     or     x = -2    or     x = -5
